Electronic security system was inaugurated in 2009 by VPM's Chairman Dr.V.V.Bedekar on the auspicious day of Guddipadwa.

Vidya Prasarak Mandal issues separate Electronic Photo Identity Card to individual student, all staff and faculty members.

We have two main Gates for entry and exit.

• Gate No.1:
Entry from this gate is only for Visitors. Their details are registered and "Athithi (Guest)" card is issued to the visitors. In case any student or staff member forgets to bring Identity Card, their entry is noted down in the college register. We also crosscheck identity of students from "Check Visitors Software" which gives details of the students.

For staff vehicles "Boom Barrier System" is installed where two sensors have been placed and the staff / faculty member has to swipe his/her card for entry and exit through Gate No1.

• Gate No.2:
Is only for Electronic Photo Identity cardholders i.e. students and staff members.  On this gate,  6-turnstile machines are installed out of which 3 are for entry and rest 3 are for exit.

We have also installed 4 CC TV Cameras on Gate No.1 and 2.

VPM has 17 staff-members on it's roll looking after the Security process.
