Activites 2010 - 2011
On 3rd July 2010 ISTE chapter
supported by Maharashtra State Board of Technical
Education, organized 10th one day National Conferecnce
on 'Broader Perspectives of Language, thinking
& Technology.' Various experts from well known
Institutes such as I.I.T Mumbai, C-Dac Mumbai,
academician experts Research students contributed
by presenting informative and innovative technical
papers. Poster presentation competition was held
on this occasion. Near about 50 entries received
for this competition. Students shown their creativity
through various posters. List of winners is as

Students ISTE chapter of the
year 2010-11 was inaugurated on 15th September
2010, on the occasion of Engineers day. Student
chapter organized Quiz competition on the same
day. It was an attempt to bring out students hidden
talents.
1) In order to highlight some
safety measures for women, ISTE chapter organized
an expert lecture on 'Women safety' on the eve
of National Security Day on 5th February 2011
by Advocate Vaishali Rode, lady police officer.
She introduced some safety training institutes
for women. She talked on 'Self-defence.' The officer
concluded her lecturer by giving advice to all
women to learn 'Self-defence'.
2) In order to highlight the
need of Blood Donation and Create awareness amongst
the yought, Blood Donation camp was organised
on 5th March 2011. Studetns from 6th Semester
and staff members actively participated in this
event. This program was conducted for the entire
day in Medical Electronics Department.
3) On 8th March 2011 'Women
Day' was celebrated by inviting expert Dr. Anjali
Gangal, Psychotherapist, Thane. The speaker focused
on PROFESSION RELATED DISORDERS faced by the ladies
in the society. She showed various techniques
that are less time consuming for fitness and strong
health of woman. She showed a presentation on
various symptoms that causes various problems
to the ladies in different professions.
