Active participation in activities of Hariyali – a NGO from Thane, jointly working in collboration with Forest
Department, in the field of conservation of water, plantation and nature
education, activities undertaken are such as -
About 5 lakes
are constructed in Yeoor hills for conservation of water. More than 1,00,000
plants are planted in the period of 8 years. Many nature trails, nature
education programs were conducted for public awareness. Water analysis, study
of succession of species, check listing of birds and insects The recent
project taken up was the Parikrama of Tanasa river to find out water condition
of the river are some of the projects. Conservation & Beautification of
city lakes from
Thane.
Active
participation in the activities of HOPE – a NGO from
Thane working in the field of Nature awareness, education and conservation,
activities undertaken are such as – Nature park constructed in collaboration
with Thane Municipal Corporation, organization of school nature clubs, mangrove
plantation, studying biodiversity of mangrove ecosystem.
Active
participation in the work of HOPE Nature Trust – Work as one of the Trustee of HOPE Nature Trust. The work done is in
Wada Taluka in the villages like Chandoli, Khaire Ambivili and Gavitpada. The
work is with holiastic approach for the upliftment of the villagers. Completed
one check dam, a rank and water recycling system with roof water harvesting.
