  • RULES, REGULATIONS ETC., REGARDING ADMISSION:
  • Commencement of admissions:

    In general, admissions to various classes will start immediately after the declaration of the results of the relevant board/college/university examinations.

    Right of Admission:

    The right of admission is absolutely reserved by the principal.

  • Procedure of Admission:

    For Admission to any class, an application in the prescribed form, which can be obtained from College Office, must reach the Principal within the period stated in the notation to that effect.

    The following document must accompany the application:

    • Original Statement of marks of the previous qualifying examination passed by the student along with two xerox copies of same attested by a competent authority. It is observed that many students’ passing H.S.C. (Std. XII) examination seek admission to the F. Y. B. Sc. class as a stop-gap arrangement and keep trying for admission to the professional courses for which they require original statement of marks of H.S.C. examination is not submitted before the date that will be notified in due course of time. 
    • No objection certificate (NOC) from the Principal of College last attended (applicable only to the students of other colleges desirous of joining our college) 
    • School Leaving Certificate in original with one attested Xerox copy of the same applicable only to the students seeking admission to the F.Y.J.C Class (Std XI).
    • Eligibility Certificate (Provisional or final) in original, from the University of Mumbai (applicable only to the students migrating from other Universities of States).

STATUS OF ADMISSION:

    • All the admissions will be treated as PROVISIONAL until all the necessary certificate/documents such as original statement of marks, final eligibility certificate, transference certificate, School Leaving Certificate etc. are submitted and approved by the appropriate authorities. 
    • No admission will be regarded as proper unless the authority of the Principal grants it. 
    • All admission will be valid only for one academic year (subject to satisfactory attendance) and will require renewal by application in the prescribed form for each subsequent year of enrollment as a student of the college.
    Cancellation of Admission:

    Admission is cancelled only on receipt of application in the prescribed form (available in the College) together with original fee receipt and the Identity Card.

FIRST YEAR JUNIOR COLLEGE (STD. XI)

English, Marathi or Hindi, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Biology with one paper of 100 marks in each subject. 

SECOND YEAR JUNIOR COLLEGE (STD.XII)

    • English, Marathi or Hindi with one paper of 100 marks in each subject.
    • Mathematics with two papers each of 50 marks.
    • Chemistry, Physics and Biology with two paper each of 40 marks and Practical each of 20 marks.

FIRST YEAR B. Sc.

      • Foundation course One Paper (Social Awareness, Personality Development and Communication Skills).
      • Any one group of subject with two papers in each subject out of the following:

      a) Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.

      b) Physics, Mathematics, Statistics.

      c) Chemistry, Botany, Zoology.

OR

Entire Information Technology

 

SECOND YEAR B. Sc.

      • Foundation Course One Paper (Elements of Social & Economic Life in India ).
      • Any one group of the subjects, with three papers in each subject, out of the following

      . Physics-Chemistry

          Physics-mathematics

          Chemistry-Botany

          Chemistry-Zoology

          Mathematics-Statistics

          Botany-Zoology

OR

Entire Information Technology

 

Subject must be from those offered at the First Year B. Sc. Level. At T.Y.B.Sc., the admissions will be given on merit and upon the availability of seats.

THIRD YEAR B. Sc.

      • Subject to availability of seats any one of the following subjects as Major Subjects, with four papers in each subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Botany, Zoology.
      • One of the following subjects (related with the major subject as shown in the admission form) as Applied Component, with two papers in each subjects.

      Electronic Instrumentation, Dyes and Drugs, Computer Programming, Operation Research, Horticulture, Fishery Biology. Major subjects chosen must be from those offered at the Second Year B.Sc. Level.

OR

Entire Information Technology

vi) The College is also recognized for post graduation courses.

M. Sc. by Papers in subjects of Organic Chemistry.

There are only 10 seats, 7 of which are filled by the University and 3 are filled by college on merit.
