guest to create awareness about the importance of self-defense.
Appropriate self-defense techniques teach us how to size up a

think of self-defense as a karate kick to the groin or jab in
the eyes of an attacker. But self-defense actually means doing
everything possible to avoid fighting someone who threatens or

self defense means protecting oneself from physical, emotional
or mental problems. She also stressed on the 3 basic steps of
self defense, which are being aware, being confident and being
calm & cool person. Using verbal skills and other techniques.
Using physical techniques. Her advice to everyone to avoid a potential
attack before it happens was to trust one's instincts.
The second session of the function was organized in the Yoga area
near Patanjali Sabhagriha where Jignyasa madam demonstrated the
7 basic techniques of Self Defense. Thereafter students performed
all the different techniques under her guidance.
By the time session came to an end she also taught special techniques
