Dr. N. S. Tekale

•Was invited to present a paper titled “Approach of Satyagraha for Protecting Tribal Civil Rights in India – A success story” at a conference organized by the Durban Municipal Body South Africa and Gandhi Development Trust to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Satyagraha from September 11 to 13,2006 at Fred Crookes Sports Centre at Durban University of Technology.

•Invited for Oral Presentation by Unite for Sight’s Health Conference at Stanford University, School of Medicine California, USA between April 13 to15, 2007.He is to present paper titled ‘Eye Care Services for Malnourished Tribal Children in Western Part of India’.

•Was invited as the Chief Guest at Vidya Bharati Shaikshanik Mandal of Vidya Bharati MahaVidyalaya Arts, Commerce, Science and Library Science, Amravati for the inauguration of Botanical Society 2006-07 on September 29, 2006. He delivered a talk on “Transgenic Plants”.

•Has been nominated as a Scientific Research Advisor, for Mankind Project by Udaygiri Lions Eye Hospital Udgir, Latur, Maharashtra.

•Achieved ‘Alpha’ grading and stood first at ‘ All India Level’ in NCC refresher-cum-promotion course (April-May 2006) Kamptee, Nagpur and was felicitated by Brig. R.C. Shard, D.G.N.C.C. Maharashtra, for above achievement, on July 28, 2006.

•Was awarded ‘long service medal’ (7 year long service medal) by D.G.N.C.C. for service in N.C.C. organization on Feb 23, 2007.
