SOFTEX is a unique State Level Project Competition for the polytechnic students. This platform provides an opportunity to the students to showcase their technical awareness and presentation skills. This competition has proven to be the most popular in all polytechnics. Students from various regions and polytechnics from Maharashtra can come together to exchange their innovative ideas and views.
This activity is approved and sponsored by MSBTE, Mumbai.

in CD and one Hard copy of synopsis
of project neatly typed on A4 size, Times New Roman–12 pt., one and half spacing
is to be submitted on or before 31st January 2007. Abstracts can

Final year Diploma students, from any Polytechnic in
Maharashtra.
Rules
for Project presentation
1.
Minimum 3 participants and maximum 4 participants per
group.
2.
Student must bring their college ID card.
3.
Entries should be from Computer Group.
4.
Synopsis must be submitted by 31st January 2007 in the name of VPM’s Polytechnic
Project Exhibition 2007 at the college address or e-mail at : Softex07@gmail.com
5.
Registration fee is Rs.200/- for a group.
6.
Only 230 V/ac supply will be provided to every stall.
Participants in computer group shall bring their project along with the CPU,
Monitor, Mouse, Keyboard, Spike-guard to avoid inconvenience.
7.
In case of prior installation and special setup, participants
will be allowed to do so a day before the exhibition.
8.
Judge’s decision will be final.
Photocopy copies
of Application forms can be used and sent on or before 31st Jan. 2007
along with Synopsis and necessary attachments. All correspondence should
be addressed to the Convener. Registration
by e-mail will not be accepted.
Rs. 200/- per project to be paid along with registration form through D.D. in favour of:

Abstracts without registration fees and certification by the head of the institute will not be accepted. Acceptance will be sent on your E-mail ID only.
Accommodation will not be provided by the institute.
