* Annual Social Day – 2007-08

Annual Social Day of Secondary section was on 18th December’07. Our ex-student –

Mrs. Sejal Kunwar, who is an Architect by profession and Founder President of Disha Stadiodromia – an NGO for Women, children and youth was our Chief Guest. Madam welcomed our parents and introduced our Chief Guest. She than, read out the Annual Report of the year 2007-08. Our Senior most Managing Committee Member – Shri. S.

V. Karandikar precided over the function and gave his blessings to make the programme a success. On same day prizes were given to the students for their best performance in academic and non academic fields. Cultural and entertainment programmes were arranged by teachers and students. Full programme was based on different themes.

VII – VIII : Our Planet,

IX : Unity in Diversity.

 

* Sports Day – 2007-08

This year Sports Day was arranged on 24th December2007 at Mavli Mandal. Following events were arranged for students from Std. V to IX.

Individual Events : - (i) Track Event – 60 m, 150 m, 300m running

                                (ii) Field Event – Long Jump, Shot put.

Team Event :- Relay race, Dodge ball, Langadi.

 

* Funfair

 

Funfair was organized in our school premises on 30th January,2008. Every class had their own stalls. Games were arranged by students of Std. V and VI and snacks by students of Std. VII to IX. Scout and Guide students and Interact Club members had their own stalls. Some of the snacks items were prepared by students themselves. It was open to all for students as well as parents.

 

* Scout & Guide Jamboree : 2007-08

A group of 28 Scouts and Guides alongwith 4 teachers from our school attended Jamboree at Delhi. It commenced from 25th December’2007 to 30th December’2007. Our students participated in March Past, dance activities, Pageant show, fun activities, night hike etc. In the intellectual activities and Youth Forum and Patrol Council; in which our students participated, Maharashtra state stood first. An site-seeing was also arranged for all the students on the last day of the camp.
