Katyayana, a grammarian or the amphitheatre of VPM's Joshi-Bedekar College?

The morning of 22nd Jan. 2007 saw the much awaited inauguration of Katyayan, the well equipped new amphitheatre of Joshi-Bedekar College.

Katyayan is the first amongst the three amphitheatres that VPM's other institutions will have the other two being Panini & Patanjali.

Katyayan was inaugurated at the hands of Dr. Vijay Bedekar, Chairman, Vidya Prasarak Mandal. This event attended by the Scholar's Academy, Principals of VPM's institutions, Management Staff of Joshi-Bedekar College and members of Student's Council made each present feel proud having such a unique facility in the campus itself.
On this occasion Dr. Vijay Bedekar was felicitated for being the fellow of Royal Asiatic Society of London. The Royal Asiatic Society established in 1823 houses over 80000 books.
