  • Awarded Fellowship by the Indian Council of Philosophical Research for Post-Doctoral Research, titled “The Perspectival Sketch of Indian Philosophical Thought”.
  • Reader and Head, Dept. of Philosophy.
  • Recognised Ph.D. guide in Philosophy in Mumbai University.
  • Teaching undergraduate and Post-graduate students in Philosophy.
  • Written various papers in Philosophy, published in various journals, besides papers read in National and International Conferences.

    SNDT University in 1984.
  • Invited by the U. S. Government for a One-Month Multi
    Regional Programme in the U. S. A. in 1985.
  • Co-Authored reading material in Public Administration
    for M. A. students of Mumbai University Distance
    Education Programme in 1990.
  • Recognized as Post Graduate teacher in Politics in 1991
  • Presented a Paper on “Environment Protection and
    Citizen Participation” at the annual conference of the
    India Public Administration Association. This paper
    was included for publication in Environment Policy and
    Administration edited by Hoshiar Singh, Printwell (1992).
  • Promoted as Reader in Politics in 1996.
  • Visiting faculty in Public Administration at the State
    Institute for Administrative Careers from 1988-2002.
  • Authored a book titled “Towards Professional Excellence
    in Banking & Finance” in 2003. This book was
    commissioned by the Indian Institute of Bankers to
    chronicle the History of the Institute on the occasion of its
    Platinum Jubilee. The book was released at the
    International Banking Summit 2002 at Delhi.
  • Co-petitioner in a Public Interest Litigation against
    Environmental Pollution. The case gave rise to landmark
    judgment by the Mumbai High Court in 1999.
  • Hobbies – Reading and interacting with people
    especially Senior citizens.
