On 17th August, 2009 NCC Army Girls Unit had organized a guest lecture of Lt. Col. M. M. Uniyal, commanding officer, 1 Maharashtra Girls BN NCC, Mumbai B group, in Kattyayan at 12.15 p.m.
The lecture delivered by Lt. Col. M. M. Uniyal, was very informative. He talked about National Cadet Corps, Career guidance and opportunities in Army. Students were  inspired by the lecture.
