Department of History

History Academy was inaugurated on 14th August, 2008.  Chief Guest on the occasion was Dr. Sonali Pednekar, Head of the Department of History in Vaze Arts, Commerce and Science College , Mulund.  She guided students about the career avenues after doing graduation in History.

Inaugural function was presided over by Principal Dr. (Mrs.) S.A. Singh.  She spoke about the significance of History in individual’s and nation’s life.  On this occasion a famous Hindi movie – Satranj-ke-Khiladi – based on the ‘Revolt of 1857’ and directed by world renowned director Satyajit Ray was screened.  Discussion was held after the movie.
