Nature Club (OASIS)  jointly with 'UNAST' organised a play based on the theme - Eco friendly Ganesh Utsav in the month of August,2008. The programme was organised in Katyayana which was attended by members of Nature Club, students and staff members of our college.

Nature Club of Junior college organized a study excursion to ' Maharashtra Nature Park ' on 20th July, 08. 25 students accompanied by four teacher's participated in this excursion. They learnt how garbage  dump ground can be converted into a beautiful nature park. On the same day they visited Band stand (Bandra) and the Historical fort. Then they visited Juhu beach where lot of monsoon jelly fish could be seen. These jelly fish has sting which can be fatal.

In September, a lecture was organised on renewable energy and it's relevance  in our country. Principal Naik Sir, of VPM's Polytechnic College gave a lot of information on power cut & how it would be tackled. About 150 students attended this lecture.
