Prof. (Mrs.) Leela Bhat successfully guided Prof. Rueen Ayaz Mirza for her M.Phil dissertation under Madurai Kamraj University . The topic of research was “Impact of Retail Management on the growth of Indian Economy”.

1.     Completed a Refresher Course conducted by University of Mumbai in 'MATHEMATICAL SCIENCE' from 8th Nov. 2008 to 22nd 2008 and was awarded 'A' Grade.

2.     She has wtitten a text book for FYBCom student in the subject of Mathematics and Statistics according to the revised syllabus prescribed by University of Mumbai .

   Was invited as a resource person for One-Day Seminar on 'Changing Dimensions in College Librarianship' organized by M.D. Shah College of Arts and Commerce and gave presentation on 'Internet Access and Online Source of Information available on Web. On 7th Feb. 2008.

Was invited to  deliver lecture on Career Opportunities in Library and Information Science at Abhinav College of Arts, Commerce & Science on 11th Jan. 2008

Was invited to present paper on 'Use of Information Communication Technology in Modern Libraries and Teachers Role at the seminar organized by Karve Education Society College at Pune on 11th Dec. 2008.

Appointed as an expert by YCM Open University to guide M.Lib. I.Sc. students for the Seminar to be held from 09th Jan.2009 to 11th Jan.2009 at  Sawatwadi Centre.

Was invited to take part in the syllabus revision meeting for B.Lib.I.Sc. and M.Lib.I.Sc. held at Department on Library and Information Science.

Submitted paper on the theme 'RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) :  A Tool for Library Security' at the National Seminar organized by VPM' Polytechnic. Thane on 10th. 2009.

1.     Attended a Two Day ‘TYBA Syllabus Revision Workshop’ held at New Panvel, jointly organized by Dept. of English, University of Mumbai and CKT College , New Panvel on 11th – 12th August 2008.

2.     Presented a paper on ‘English, August’: A Satire of Civil Service’ in Pre-Seminar One Day Workshop on Post Independence Indian Literature arranged by our college on 22nd August 2008.

3.     Worked as a Coordinator of English in the organization of UGC sponsored Two Day National Seminar on Post-Independence Indian Literature on 16th-17th Jan.2009.

4.     Attended 20th G.C. Banerjee Memorial lecture on Writing Lives delivered by Dr. Udaya Kumar ( Delhi University ) held at Mehta Bhavan, University of Mumbai organized by Dept. of English on 2nd Feb. 2009.  

5.     Participated in a Two Day National Seminar on ‘Relocating the Nation: Cultural Issues in Contemporary India’  organized by Dept. of English, University of Mumbai on 5th-6th Feb.2009.
