About Library :

OUR SCHOOL LIBRARY
The library is a treasure of knowledge. We are very fortunate in having a good library in our school. Both teachers and the students need a good library to keep their knowledge fresh and up-to-date.
In the library all types of books, magazines and newspapers are available for reading. The books have been arranged according to the subjects. There are nearly 13,000 books on Accession of all subjects.

Nearly 1,500 books are scrapped.
There are 25 various Titles of Encyclopedia containing minimum 10 books in each set. Students and teachers use the Encyclopedia as Reference books. There are nearly 50 educational CD's in the library. Students are benefited through LCD and Smart Board.
Procedure : All students of our school have been issued a library card. At a time each student can get one book issued on this card. The book is issued for two weeks.
Various ACTIVITIES conduced by our School Library :
1) NIE : NEWS In Education - Special Edition for students published by
Times of India. Our 200 students are taking advantage of NIE.
2) Scholastic Readers Club
3) Library Exhibition is arranged every year in the month of February. Only new arrivals and best projects prepared by students are exhibited. We are giving Best Reader's prize every year during Annual Social Program to encourage our students.

LIBRARY RULES
1) Pupils of classes V to X will have access to books, periodicals and magazines in the library.
2) Students must handle the books carefully. Any damage shall have to be made good.
3) No book or magazine can be taken without the permission of the Librarian.
4) Books borrowed must be returned within 7 days from the date of issue.
5) Books lost shall have to be made good.
6) Absolute silence and order must be maintained in the library.
7) Reference books cannot be taken out of the school premises.
8) All books must be returned before the vacation.
9) Marking, underlining, annotating of the books is absolutely forbidden.
10) Books will be issued only in the library period.
11) Std. X students will be allowed to change their library books after the
school hours.
12) Encyclopedia and dictionaries will not be allowed to take home. They
can be used for reference in the school only.
13) Library cards should be submitted to the librarian while issuing the
book.
14) If the library card is lost, duplicate card will not be issued at any cost.
