scouts of our school represented Maharashtra State in National Melava
(Jambhori) held at Haridwar. Following are the highlights of
this event : -

commenced from 16th to 22nd October 2005
2) 30,000
students from 43 Organisations/Instituition from all over India, Bhutan,
Srilanka, Bangladesh. etc. attended Jambhori. Out of which 3747 scouts and
guides were from Maharashtra State.

Maharashtra’s
participation in various National Level competitions and events was
appreciated.
4) Maharashtra
State bagged 24 prizes in various competitionsand events. Details are –
- Guide wing
bagged 1st and Scout wing bagged 2nd prize at the
National Level. This
was for the first time that Maharashtra
State had achieved this success.
- Participants of Thane District bagged 1st
prize in Colour Party at National level.
- Sub-camp No.13, 14, 15 from Maharashtra state received
prize for cleanliness.
- Sub-camp No.15 of Thane District achieved extraordinary
success in Adventure camps.
5) Students from our school were selected as representatives
of Maharashtra state in
March past.
12. Our
science project “Hydroponics” was
selected at national level & was declared as “Best
Project
in Maharashtra State”. At national level at Bhuvaneshwar also our project was
ranked as
the best project & has been selected for documentation film. The same
project
was also
presented by Prachi Joshi at Hydrabad for Young Scientists Conference!

Gade. This was organized by National Children’s science Congress 2005.

Jidnysa Trust was conducted in our
school, whereby approx.
80 students from 28 different schools participated in it and
students from our school
secured 2nd prize in the Quiz contest at
district level.

Geography Club activity started in the month of July’06
- Students were asked to collect the
materials from newspapers and periodicals about the
recent geographical happenings and
discoveries around the world and get it stuck in their
scrap books.
- Club had organized a field trip to
Vajreshwari, where students were given a chance to get
real experience about their natural
surroundings. Also students were taken to hot spring,
water filteration plant, Shimla dairy,
Usgaon Dam.
- Club members and other students of Std V
had organized exhibition, exhibiting the physical
division of India. Also exhibited few
other models which included vegetation of desert
region, houses of various regions.
SPORTS CLUB – In charge –

Club conducted coaching classes for Chess and Cricket for students of Std V to IX. Shri Shrikhande Sir and Shri
Rane Sir conducted chess coaching classes twice a week and Shri Satish Kulkarni
conducted daily Cricket coaching classes on our school stilt. Our school team
played many Interschool cricket and chess tournaments. Mast. Abhilesh Gokhale
stood 2nd and Mast. Vinit Pitale stood 5th in Interschool
chess competition held at S.V.P.T. School, Rabodi.

interactors donated a sum of Rs.735/- to the Leprosy Rehabilitation Centre,
